Monastery "Svete Trojice" - Bjele Vode

Monastery of St. Trojice is located in the hamlet of Bjela Voda, on the slopes of the hill Nemić, near Ljubovije, about 400 m above the river Drina. This is a new monastery, which was built by the founder Karadjordj Ristanovic, a native of this area, with the blessing of the Bishop of Sabac, Mr. Lavrentije. The monastery was built on the family property around the graves of his parents Kosta and Božana Ristanović and little sister Vida. The monastery came to life in 2005 with the arrival of hieromonk Seraphim as the abbot of the monastery, and regular worship services have been held since then. It has a shroud with the relics of St. Fridays.

The monastery has an extremely beautiful position with a beautiful view of the Drina and the Bosnian mountains, clean air and very high quality spring water, after which the village got its name.
