Fishing
The fishing association OOSR "Drina" was founded in 1951. Within the fishing association there are three sections: seniors, juniors and pioneers. Due to its water richness, Azbukovica is a suitable habitat for the development of river and stream fauna.
In the Drina, which flows through Azbukovica in the length of 38 km, there is a larger ichthyofauna: pike, barbel, young, catfish, and in greater numbers there are skobalj, bodorka and nosara.
In smaller rivers such as Ljubovidja, Orovicka reka, Postenjska, Uzovnicka, Gracanicka and Velika reka, the most common are krkusa and brook trout.
The members of the society are engaged in restocking rivers and preserving the existing fish stock, in order to prevent illegal fishing. There is also great interest from foreign fishermen who come to this area.
